The Center for Human Reproduction's Long Island, NY fertility center is fortunate to have an exceptional laboratory staff, highly trained in cutting-edge assisted reproductive technologies.
We have an additional Web page discussing the various assisted reproductive technologies.
Modern fertility care involves careful and complex laboratory work involving sperm, eggs and embryos, which requires extensive training and many years of clinical experience. The embryology team plays an important part in our outstanding IVF pregnancy rates and the success of our Long Island, NY Donor Egg Program.
Our NY center's infertility specialists and embryologists engage in innovative research studies, such as the optimal pH for embryo development and the impact of assisted hatching on survival of embryos post freeze-thaw. Our embryologists consistently strive to remain at the forefront of the rapidly advancing field of reproductive science by pioneering new IVF lab techniques.
Due to the meticulous efforts of our Laboratory Director, Dr. Feng and our embryology team, our laboratory is accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), which bases its results on comprehensive on-site reviews and inspections. We are proud of the fact that our IVF laboratory consistently receives the highest certification with gold distinction. Additionally, our fertility lab is certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and licensed by the New York State Department of Health.
